We showcased 13 chefs across two days in 2018 in our Live Cookery Theatre. Programme updates for the 9th Annual Crail Food Festival will appear early 2019, but in the meantime look back at the faces which appeared in June 2018.

Martin is the executive chef at the five red star Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa. He manages a brigade of chefs and oversees all menu planning for the resort.

Scott Smith, a former protégé of Geoffrey Smeddle, owner of the The Peat Inn which holds a Michelin star, is the former chef patron of Norn.

Geoffrey has been chef proprietor at The Peat Inn for ten years earning a Michelin-star six years ago. Geoffrey has also been sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for cooking as a columnist for the Scottish Herald since 2004.

Owen married into 4th Generation family run Jannettas Gelateria 22 years ago. Having a wealth of experience in hospitality both in UK and abroad, he honed his expertise, leading Jannettas to be crowned by the nation the Best Gelateria 2014.

Ian Baker set up Sacred Grounds Coffee with his sister Kathryn Baker and roaster Jamie Simpson in 2015 in Arbroath, making them Angus’s only roastery.
