Family Fun at Crail Food Festival

Children’s Activities

The 7th annual Crail Food Festival has another exciting programme of children’s activities to make sure everyone has a fun-filled weekend.

Marine Hotel

Saturday & Sunday

There is plenty to entertain younger visitors to the Crail Food Festival at the Marine Hotel.

A family cafe from Nibbles ‘n’ Giggles which will have indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting.) Children will be able to choose their own picnic lunch box to enjoy.

The team from Forgan’s will be on face painting duty, and there will be a special bookstore with children’s stories from through the ages.

Throughout the whole weekend there will be the exciting children’s ceilidh, along with traditional Scottish stories from Hamespun Tales – all taking place at the Marine Hotel.

Through the village there will be a treasure trail to encourage curious minds to explore the festival. Visit the stalls to find the hidden letters and discover the mystery word! The treasure trail will be available to pick up from selected venues across the festival.

Crail Harbour

Sunday

Sunday is the return of the now infamous Harbour Lunch.

To complement the lunch we have a list of fun and games for the kids from the Crail Food Festival Children’s Champion.

Don’t worry about the sand and take part in the scavenger hunt on the beach. There will be a table with arts and crafts, parachute games and of course a sandcastle competition.

Crail Food Festival 2017 promises to be a fun-filled weekend for the whole family!
